Week 4: Day 2 - Website Up & Running But...

Well, my site was finally restored by my web host..but before I say yei... I have to wait because I can't log in.
Also it seems I have alot of work to do to it because the entire apearance settings have changed completely!

Anyhow, another job is to post something on my other blog that supports my website(Website A - the one having issues)

Oh, by the way, I had a fairly good day at work. Not much stress but am sick today. Just a flue bugging me!

Week 4: Day 2 - Another Sale!

This looks promising. I also received various updates from my outsourcing team of. 10 spun articles are ready to me to use!
I wish my site was actualy up and running. I would work on it all night but again, that is not possible so I will have t wait.
On the other hand it buys me time to properly research and plan the site layout and other features.

Catch Up - Week 4

Wow,
I have recently been so busy and kind of ignored this blog. That shouldn't happen again.

Well, so much has happened recently but the best thing to report is I bought a website that I believe has alot of potential.
It was already making money so I hope to carry on from where the previous owner finished off. Ofcourse there is alot of catching up to do but am more than happy to learn more about this niche.

To be quiet honest, this is a gamble but I just had a gut feeling that I should go for it!
The previous owner is really helpful, and has done a lot to bring me up to speed with Internet Marketing.

At the moment I have also outsourced all my writing to 3 writers. Once they complete the work, I intend to rebuild my site.

• Writer X  - 10 Articles
• Writer Y  - 10 Articles
• Writer Z  - 6 Articles
• Writer(X/Y/Z...yet to decide) - 10 Product reviews

Update - My first website(Site A) has a database problem and is currently down! Am so unhappy because I cannot do anything. Talked to the web host and they reckon, it will be fixed tomorrow 1st March 2010.
Once all articles are ready, then the actual work will start. I intend to invest heavily in this site and would like to see it ranking highly by the 30th March 2010. By highly, I mean 1st page of Google!

Outsourcing seems expensive but it is worth every penny for a person like me who hates writing.
Once all this complete I will post the total cost of outsourcing for the first site.
Site B(which I bought) needs SEO but again, I have the previous owner doing all this for a "small fee"

Day 2 of Week 2 (Project Day 8)

Hi,

Haven't done much on site except write one article today and watched video on creating a "gif".

Am glad I have accumulated 248 points with yahoo answers so two more points to go and I can link my site to yahoo!
I can see "traffic" coming!

Day 1 of Week 2 (Project Day 7)

Well,
To begin with I slept late. I worked the whole of yesterday and went to bed at 6am Sunday Morning.
This IM is very addictive and I wonder what it will be like when I start making sales. I am so geared up and going everything at a supersonic speed.
I spent quite a few hours yesterday trying to answer several questions on yahoo. That is a way for me to increase my points which currently sit at 199. I need to get to level two pretty soon!

Anyhow, back to Affilorama, I have reached week 5. My site is up and running and has received 7 visitors ever since it went live on 13 Feb 2010.
The site is lacking as far as articles are concerned. I have several articles that are still in draft mode via word press and once they are ready I will publish them. The site is currently "blessed" with 4 articles...lol...
I had to do this otherwise I would keep postponing "TAKING ACTION"
Am glad with my work but until I have 30 articles published on my site I won't be satisfied with myself.

I have sent out a tender invitation to friends and want them to send competitive bids for writing my articles. Tenders close on 21 Feb - so fingers crossed!

Hey, have to rest now so that am able to work for the "BOSS"

Day 6 of Week 1 - Keeping on Track

I woke up at 8.15am and its now 11am but I haven't done much!

Now I have decided to shut down the internet and simply concentrate on writing the articles for my site.

Day 5 of Week 1

Today is Friday,great! I now have time to concentrate on my Project. I have decided to give this whole adventure a name - PROJECT 010910.

010910 simply relates to the day I intend to quit my current full time job! So by 1st September 2010, I should be making enough money online so that I can become independent.

Accomplishments to date:
I have been able to select a Niche and some keywords.
Some articles rewritten and ready for the site.
Bought a domain name from NameCheap.com
Hoisted my domain via Affilorama
Am currently on lesson 2 of week three!!!!!

Weekend Tasks:
Rewrite all articles that I intend to upload on my website.
Have my first website up and running by Monday 15th Feb 2010
Complete week 4 by the end of this weekend (Sunday 14 Feb 2010)

I believe all this is possible and will work extremely hard to achieve my DREAM - FINANCIAL FREEDOM by September 2010.

Today all I did was muck around trying to analysis too much and have ended up without any significant progress.

Week 1: Day 1

Stressed out at work!

After a rough day of failing to beat a deadline I just went straight to the library and downloaded my Week 1 Tasks.

Came home, did some cooking and then straight to watching all the videos for week 1.
No action taken, just getting familiar with the whole Week 1 course.

Time Check: 11.55pm.

Now I have to sleep!

Master Plan Progress: Week 1

It is 9.51pm New Zealand time and I have had a long day sited in front of a bloody laptop!

Anyhow, I can't really complain. I have just gone over the tasks for week 1. Watching all the videos in the personal philosophy category has really helped clear my mind. The videos are very inspiring and I will actually watch them again tomorrow after the boring 9-5 job. I wonder why my job is not as interesting as these online ventures.

*Why am I doing this?
1. I want to be able to work on things that am very passionate about. I got into my current profession simply because it pays well, but I do not love the profession - it sucks!
2. Working for someone else isn't the way I intend to spend my entire adulthood. I need freedom to do what I want, when I want.
3. My dream is to travel the world without having to think of returning to "work". Affiliate marketing has no physical borders so essentially I can work away while in the Caribbean on holiday then continue working when I move to my next holiday destination.
4. I want to have FINANCIAL FREEDOM - PERIOD!
5. Most of my hours after work are simply wasted chatting with friends on facebook and surfing the web. I reckon I should spend my time more productively and that is how Affiliate marketing comes in.

*What do I want to achieve?
1. Earn a decent income. Get paid what am really worth.
2. Travel the world as I work.
3. Build a reputable online business and help others who want to earn an income from it.

The one thing that has helped me reach this far is BELIEF that in this world there isn't anything like being LUCKY.
LUCK IS A RESULT OF OPPORTUNITY MEETING PREPAREDNESS

Taking baby Steps

Today I have spent all day in my room researching internet marketing. Its quite overwhelming with all sorts of sites, blogs, forums, etc that you simply fail to do do anything significant.
I expected to know a lot by the end of today but unfortunately thanks to the distraction I haven't achieved much.
Anyhow, am glad I have joined the 6 day weekend which looks like a genuine program - "will see about that"!
So how did I get there? Well I am a premium member of affilorama - one of the most renown site for internet marketing. Its owned by Mark Ling a renown internet marketeer who has made a fortune through online ventures.
Being newbie and so confused about where to start I simply wrote an email to Mark Ling through his website yesterday and today he replied me - how instant!...lol...anyhow, he recommended I start by contacting one of his successful students Sean Morrissy who would give me 1 on 1 coaching.
So glad I have this info and have just emailed Sean a while ago. Now am waiting to hear back from Sean.
Meanwhile I have paid up for membership with Seans website and boy, its PACKED with alot of information.
I guess this is where newbies should start!
